It appears that this topic is a favourite for jigsaw brands. I mean, what’s not to like?! Ponds, maypoles, thatched cottages, animals and a whole host of people. The scenes are bright and cheery, with bold colours and a chance for plenty of details. A rather lovely month.

Art and artists for July
Not my favourite theme. I tried to spread out the brighter puzzles over the month, but still felt that most were dull and full of browns and other dull colours. Also, a few missing pieces didn’t help with motivation.

Mother Nature ruled in June
I mean, who knew I could have two puzzles with mushrooms on? But I did, and both were glorious. What this month showed was just how vibrant the colours of nature can be, whilst still giving moments of green calm and serenity. Perfect!

On the lookout for a good book in May
I was on holiday for most of May and it certainly showed in my puzzle output. Luckily I only had a small number for the theme of books so it wasn’t too much of a disappointment. All 3 very different, but all 3 were lovely to do….especially the rainbow one, I mean who doesn’t love a rainbow?

Medieval times for April
Who doesn't like a good castle. Best bit about these puzzles I discovered was they were usually photographed with plenty of sky in the background and I simply love sky! Then down to the grass or greenery before tackling the castle itself. I broadened the theme a little to get some lovely artwork in there, but sadly there were some pieces missing. Overall, a good month of puzzling!

Travel and Transport in March
I’m enjoying a monthly theme already. So much so that I spent time in my garage organising my puzzles into themes and have enough piles to keep me going well into 2026. March was filled with planes, boats, cars, and barges. Lots of bright pictures and plenty of history.

Flowers for February
In an effort to start clearing my collection I’ve decided to give each month a theme and only do puzzles that match it. This month was flowers, although it could also have been English county cottage….
