New year, new targets to consider!

This year I have set myself the target of completing at least 100 jigsaws. This is for a number of reasons:

1. I currently can’t move in the garage because of all the jigsaws in there to be done!

2. Jigsaws genuinely make me happy and I should put aside more time for them

3. Every jigsaw I check is then sold and raises money for a group local to me.

I’d happily do more than 100, but that would probably mean I do nothing else, and sadly I still have to work! Anyway, 9 for January isn’t too shabby a start…

Festively fantastic

I decided that only festive puzzles could be done in December and managed to stick to it - well, almost, but it was a Christmas present and the first line of the story is Christmas themed. A lovely month.

Another year, another advent puzzle…

I used to get my advent puzzle from the big brands and although they were fine, I much prefer the ones where you build an image day by day. This one was fun and reasonable quality, and only one piece was in the wrong box, and even then it was only one box along. A success.

November was wet!

But that meant a lovely excuse to stay in and puzzle…and puzzle I did! I was also lucky enough to visit a jigsaw puzzle factory and see puzzles being made, cut and bagged - a real experience!

A month of two halves…

So I’ve done quite a bit of puzzling this month, but have had the same number of completed vs missing pieces so my final photo showing doesn’t look at impressive. Luckily all puzzles with missing pieces were only missing 1, so still good to sell at the bargain price of 20p. The completed…well, take a look…

Autumn puzzling

As the weather draws in I find the temptation to puzzle increases. Combined with a BDC puzzle meeting and September has proved to be a great month for puzzling output.
